Men’s Psychedelic Preparation & Integration Coaching
An experience can change what you see. The deeper work is deciding how to live.
You may be approaching a psychedelic experience with questions about who you are, what drives you, or what your life is becoming. You may have already returned from one carrying grief, shame, wonder, or something you cannot yet put into words.
This is one-on-one coaching for men who want to prepare thoughtfully, explore what emerges, and bring that understanding into their relationships, decisions, and daily life.
This is for you if you’re:
Preparing for a legal psilocybin session in Colorado or Oregon, or a retreat abroad
Considering a psychedelic experience and want to think it through carefully first
Back from an experience and struggling to make sense of it
Carrying something difficult from a challenging or confusing experience
Wanting what you saw to actually change how you live, not fade in a few weeks
What Is Preparation & Integration Coaching?
Preparation and integration coaching gives that exploration a structure. Before an experience, we examine your intentions, expectations, and support needs. Afterward, we explore what happened, consider its meaning, and decide how to respond in everyday life.
Psychedelic substances have been part of some Indigenous ceremonial and spiritual traditions for millennia, with practices continuing today. Ancient Greece also held traditions of initiation: the Eleusinian Mysteries, centered on Demeter and Persephone, explored death, return, and renewal.
These distinct histories speak to an enduring human concern: how profound experiences change our relationship to life, ourselves, and the sacred. The Eleusinian tradition is part of the inspiration behind my work.
Today, renewed research and cultural interest in psychedelics have brought questions of consciousness, meaning, and self-transcendence into wider conversation.
The Protocol
Six 60-minute sessions. Three for preparation. Three for integration.
Preparation
Three sessions before the experience
1. Clarify What Brings You Here
We examine your intentions, concerns, and the circumstances shaping your interest. What are you hoping to understand? What are you expecting the experience to resolve? We make room to consider whether to proceed, postpone, or pursue another form of support.
2. Establish Grounding & Support
We explore your expectations, practice simple grounding skills, and identify personal boundaries and trusted support. We also identify health or medication questions that need to be addressed with a qualified clinician.
3. Prepare for the Return
We create a written plan for the days afterward: space for rest and reflection, people you can turn to, and arrangements for integration. You enter with a clearer understanding of what you are bringing and how you will attend to what follows.
Integration
Three sessions after the experience
4. Revisit What Happened
We explore what you remember: emotions, images, bodily sensations, and unanswered questions. We distinguish the experience itself from the conclusions you are drawing and identify what needs attention first.
5. Explore Meaning & Patterns
We connect what emerged with the larger questions in your life: relationships, identity, ambition, grief, mortality, or a sense of connection beyond yourself. We choose a theme to explore through reflection, conversation, or a manageable experiment between sessions.
6. Put Understanding Into Practice
We review what you have tried, what has changed, and what remains unresolved. Together, we develop a written integration plan with specific commitments, practices, and support. We also decide whether further work would be useful.

Why Work With Me
I earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), a global leader in psychedelic-assisted therapy education and training and home to the world’s first university-affiliated certificate program in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research.
It was at CIIS where where I trained alongside leading educators and clinicians in the field of psychedelic therapy. That background brings both clinical safety and depth to this work, helping men integrate powerful or challenging experiences with structure, clarity, and self-trust. We bring sustained attention to the psychological patterns, emotions, and existential questions a psychedelic experience can bring forward.
We can work seriously with grief, shame, ambition, identity, and self-transcendence while keeping your relationships, responsibilities, and judgment in view. Through this structured process, I combine psychological depth and direct conversation to help you translate what you’ve come to understand into the choices, relationships, and commitments that shape your life.
Eleusis Rising: A Men’s Movement
Depth, purpose, and a more deliberate life.
It’s for ambitious men who have found success in the world and want greater connection and purpose: founders, entrepreneurs, executives, and established professionals seeking candid conversation, lasting friendships, and meaningful collaboration.
Inspired by the Eleusinian tradition of initiation and return, the program invites men to examine their ambitions, relationships, and the roles they inhabit—and consider what they want their lives to serve.
The planned Colorado program combines weeks of group preparation, a retreat with psilocybin services through a licensed healing center, and structured integration afterward. The work continues when you return, through reflection, concrete commitments, and a community in which to practice what you are learning.
The larger vision is a more conscious relationship to success: how we create value, exercise influence, and take responsibility for the people our choices affect. We’re building a network of men invested in one another’s growth—what they accomplish, who they become, and what they can contribute together.
Questions About the Work
-
This work is for adult men considering a psychedelic experience or making sense of one they have already had.
You may be exploring relationships, ambition, grief, identity, or what gives your life meaning. You can arrive with curiosity, uncertainty, or questions you have struggled to explain.
-
The full protocol includes six 60-minute, one-on-one sessions: three for preparation and three for integration.
Our work combines direct conversation, guided reflection, and selected practices between meetings. We develop written preparation and integration plans that connect your intentions, support needs, and understanding with specific steps in your daily life.
-
Yes. A three-session integration engagement is available on its own.
We begin with what you are carrying now, explore the experience and its significance, and develop practices or commitments to carry forward. The experience may have happened recently or years ago.
-
You do not need to have made that decision before we speak. We can examine your motivations, expectations, concerns, and the questions you hope an experience might address.
There is room to reconsider, postpone, or choose another path. Coaching does not establish medical suitability; that requires an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
-
No. These sessions are sober coaching conversations before and after an experience. Please reach out to discuss facilitation experiences.
-
This offer is nonclinical coaching and education. My clinical background informs how I listen, ask questions, and work with psychological material, but this service does not include diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.
If your needs call for psychotherapy or medical care, we will discuss seeking an appropriately qualified provider. Medication decisions belong with your prescriber.
-
You do not have to describe your experience as a breakthrough. There is room to discuss fear, disappointment, contradictory impressions, or uncertainty about whether anything meaningful happened.
We begin by considering what needs attention and whether coaching fits. Persistent distress or difficulty functioning calls for clinical assessment. Immediate safety concerns require urgent help rather than waiting for a coaching appointment.
-
No. You can bring religious commitments, spiritual curiosity, skepticism, or an unsettled understanding of what happened.
We can take questions of meaning, mortality, and self-transcendence seriously while examining interpretations carefully. You will not be asked to adopt a particular worldview or treat every powerful impression as a fact.
-
Microdosing can be discussed through education and reflection: what you hope it will make possible, what you believe you have noticed, and other factors influencing your experience.
The safety and effectiveness of psilocybin microdosing remain uncertain. These conversations do not include individualized dosing schedules, medication advice, or promises of improved mood, creativity, or performance. Read the research overview from NCCIH.
-
We agree on timing around your circumstances, with preparation beforehand and integration afterward. Between sessions, you have space to reflect and try the practices we develop.
Six sessions provide a defined starting structure. Some questions require more time. We review what remains useful to address and discuss further support when appropriate. Continuation is never assumed.
-
Schedule a free, 30-minute consultation. We will discuss what brings you here, whether coaching fits your needs, and whether preparation, integration, or both would be useful.
We also review session timing, fees, and what working together involves before you decide whether to book.
